What does Elon buying twitter have to do with anything. Most people will not be leaving twitter. Going forward there's certainly a concern that Elon could make the site worse on the functional side of things, to the point people leave. But we're not there yet.

2022 and black people here still want to give a blatant conman their time and money. Tariq is not your friend or your daddy.

I’m not even a Tariq fan but I understand he missed a big opportunity by not continuing with his dream of an app for black people.

Elon Musk is a proven anti black racist. He is going to turn Twitter into alt right heaven under the guise of “free speech”

This would’ve been the perfect time for someone like Tariq to be pushing a black alternative.

That shyt would've flopped.

How can you make a product for black people when the person himself throws a large portion of black people under the bus.

Shea butter twitter?
Swirler?
etc. etc.

Gotta make money from advertisements. What advertisement company is paying to market on a Tariq anything?

I agree Musk is racist filth from birth (fukk Boers). I haven't posted much in the official thread but I'm not sure I buy that twitter will become a racist wasteland. A major reason that conservative alternatives to Twitter have failed is because the app store has pretty strict requirements on hate speech. And beyond the app store there's the legal ramifications, and the problem is gaining advertisers while catering to white racists. Given that his stated goal is to make Twitter more successful financially, I don't believe he's gonna be able to do that AND create a racist wasteland where all views can be shared. That's not to say he won't allow some ugly shyt, from anti-science bullshyt to state sponsored (China, Russia) propaganda. I'm just saying if you got banned for calling black people racial slurs a week ago on twitter, you're still gonna get banned for doing it 6 months from now.
