:jbhmm: so basically everything at all times is in a constant state of being pulled to the center Earth.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts we are definitely on a prison planet. A force so strong you can't detect it unless you want to leave :why:
I'm not too well versed in physics so somebody (with some damn sense) can correct me, but every object exerts gravitational pull on every other object.

So if you wanted to you could calculate the force you and me are exerting on each other right now if we knew the distance between us and our masses. So if we were in a vacuum (no air resistance) standing on a frictionless surface we'd be attracted to each other ( :harlemoah: ) but the acceleration would be extremely minute. I can't think of the calculations off hand but I bet we'd die before gravitation pulls is into contact with each other. But add in the force of friction then that would overpower the gravitational force between you and me and we'd stay apart.

If it makes you feel better, we all exert force on this bih so it's trapped here with us too :demonic:

Actually, the entire earth is accelerating upwards at 9.8m/s^2 (along with the sun, moon and their satellites) due to propulsion from dark energy.

Dark energy - Wikipedia

another revolutionary theory in flat earth science is the Davis model. John Davis suggests that the earth is an infinite disc with finite gravity.

here are some of his calculations:

If I throw a rock away from the (flat) earth, what force brings it back down?

:ohhh:

Cacs didn't invent the idea of space and comets, meteors planets or stars. They just put names to concepts that already existed. Other people had mapped the skies as well and stars and had concepts of other planetary bodies before cacs.

I find it hard to believe that someone that has observed the naked sky away from city lights would question some of these things. :heh:

Just because you see pretty lights in the sky doesn’t mean they are physical places that you can visit

There’s a reason only a handful of people get to go to space

shyts all science FICTION
