Yeah, I'm sure that's due to his size, strength, and athleticism, not the fact that you have to respect him from 35 feet and the floor is spread out with late help
lol if 7 footers were allowed to camp in the paint then 90% of the guards in the league would be obsolete regardless of those traits you just listed.

Whats the point of being built like Eric Bledsoe if you cant finesse the ball in the hoop?

Curry made 2 layups last night that other guards couldnt dream of finishing

nikka dont lie to us.. We family here
I honestly think Ive played with those rules a handful of times in my life, but the most recent time I did we won all the games we played. I probably lost some back in the day too but such games played with these rules are very rare.

If they kept the zone then shyt would really be :scust:. You'd have 5 niggs waiting in the paint, letting cats shoot all the 25 footers they want. Game would still be about shooting from range but there would way fewer points. Drives would be pretty much be shut down because logic dictates that you would rather have dudes get their 2 pts from 25 feet out than on layups. And the shots that are 3s now would only count for two. Now if you get rid of the zone it would make things interesting. It would take a while for the changes to really take hold though, as current players would still play like they always have for the most part. It would take a couple generations for everyone to adjust, just like with 3s.

Which player and/or team would suffer the most.

Obviously, Warriors and Rockets wouldn't be the same.

Derozan would probably be the best player in the league :manny:

I always remember whenever I'd play pickup and there was no 3 point line or 3 pointers allowed (not my rules :beli:) I'd hate it because it completely changes the game. Like nobody will come out to guard you,

But my midrange is GOAT so it really didn't matter much :banderas:

Anyways, I just think the 3 point line has too much power in todays game, to the point that even centers are shooting it now and some are even taking more than guards.

Remember the greatest player of All Time didn't need 3 pointers to dominate.:hubie:
The 3 pointer should be a luxury not something teams depend on night in and night out to survive. :manny:
He was a 7'2" center though so why would he really need the 3?

Don't matter you still gotta guard the J from 15ft out or 20ft out..

A shooter you still have to guard with a 3pt line or no 3pt line

I don't think you get what OP is saying breh. You want nikkas taking 25 ft 2 pointers regardless of how good a shooter they are. Curry shooting long 2s at 44% clip isn't gonna beat a team shooting mid range and layups at a higher percentage. Lets say a team averages 10 made 3s a game, bump it down to 2s and that's a ten point difference. A team like Houston would be the worst team in the league.
