A) He completely revolutionized the way the PG position is played.

B) He's got more awards and hardware then damn near anyone:

6× NBA champion
NBA Most Valuable Player
2× NBA All-Star Game MVP
13× All-Star
10× All-NBA First Team

If you're cutting guys from the top 50, Couz is about the last guy that should go.

You can say he revolutionized whatever, but the fact is, he could never play in the nba today. Now if you judge him by what he did in his era.. then yeah, he's definitely a top 50 player.

If they didn't vote him in the first time (which I agree, they should have) why would they vote him in the next go round? An updated list would simply be to add players who weren't in the league or who were too young to make a big enough impact when the first list came out.

Not every great that has debuted after the original list in '96 is better than Nique.

Nique should replace some as well as your Kobes, AIs, Brons, etc.
