Let's be honest here, that would never happen (even though he should be considered if they win).

It'll be Parker cause he's a "star." This doesn't fit the topic but I just heard that fool Bill Simmons say that Game 6 is a must win for the Spurs.

I honestly think Danny Green deserves it if they pull it off

But they would never give the mvp to a non all-star.

Its the David Stern world we live in

I think it's a real possibility; in fact, it's probably going to happen. Aint nobody been striking the fear in Miami's hearts more than that lightskin nikka.

You could argue that Parker's vision and execution in halfcourt are the reasons Green's going off but no one on the Spurs has displayed anything near the raw scoring power of Green this series.

The big 3 has been mediocre to average this series save for Parker in Game 1 and Manu in tonight's game while Danny Green has been scoring 18 PPG at superhuman efficiency. He's legit splashing FIVE THREES A GAME AT A 70% CLIP; how can you argue against that?

If him and Tony were neck and neck in production I wouldn't be surprised to see Green get snubbed but he's been pedestrian for most of this series while Green is having one of the best performances from a roleplayer in Finals history. Unless Parker drops 40+ in a Game 6 win, Green's already won the MVP.

Exactly, I didnt even mention dude's defense. It aint like hes just camping the corner draining wide open 3s and ignoring all other facets of the game; this nikka aint Mike Miller. He puts in serious work on the defensive end. He did a great job throwing Curry off his rhythm in the 2nd round and we're seeing it again in the Finals with him shutting down the LeBron/Wade fast breaks. He's not an all-world defender but he works hard enough on defense that he can frustrate the hell out of anyone he's guarding.

right now you could make a fantastic case for danny green for mvp, i think if they won though with things the way they stand it'd go to duncan.

I'm not clowning, but I can't stop laughing at how the thread topic was setup.

There was absolutely ZERO suspense at what the next word or in this case acronym was going to be.

Again, I'm not trying to clown, but that shyt has me :dead: every time I see it.

He deserves to be the MVP but I believe they will give it to Duncan or Parker unless Green goes off the next game too.

Y'all need to get of his dikk. All he is doing is hitting threes where he is getting set up.
Parker is actually running that team. And he deserves it. W/o Parker series is 4-1 Miami.

/thread. Spurs lose yesterday if Danny Green doesn't go off like he did, not to mention he hit the game clincher when the Heat were making their push towards the end. We in the Danny Green era now, it's official, the NBA is dead. :wow: Could you imagine Glen Rice doing in the Bulls? :heh: If you got a solid jumpshot in the NBA you are averaging 15 pts/game easy on these bum azz defenders.
