No it doesn't. If LeBron doesn't win the title the Indians don't go on a mid-summer tear, wrap up their division, and then crush it all the way through the playoffs. It just would not have happened. He re-energized the city, the idea that the Indians can only win a ring AFTER the floodgates have "opened" is a good look for LeBron. He opened the floodgates.
