Thinking about it, outside of our own sports what are our athletes good at? . Like I'm thinking of the olympics and we don't really do that well tbh. I think the era of American dominance is over because we are just too lazy or don't value sports unless we get money out of it. I won't consider Americans the best just because we dominate basketball, football, or baseball cuz nobody really plays those sports outside of us.

US also dominates tennis lacrosse water polo. It's the irrelevant sports we don't do good in but us will be better in soccer eventually. organically, a lot more youth are playing now more than ever
