God doesn't perform great miracles because it would be definite proof that he exists.
If we have proof that God exists then, we no longer require faith to believe in him.
Without faith there would be no need for Jesus Christ.
If Jesus Christ didnt sacrifice his blood for our sins. Then there would be no way for us to cleanse our souls of sins.
Without a way to cleanse ourselves of sins, then no man, women, or child could gain access to heaven.
Without access to heaven, we're all doomed to spent eternity in the fiery pits of hell.
God not performing miracles is part of his everloving plans to save humanity. He does it out of love, not neglect.
