Of course it went to the album that sold the most units, politics as usual.

Was the album even good quality wise?
It was one of the most critically acclaimed albums of last year. With Rolling Stone listing it as their number 1.

Was praying this was it before I clicked. It felt disrespectful as fukk for them to nominate Mac Miller only to play politics as usual. His album was the only one I hadn't heard it before but I'm listening now and he really dropped a gem with this :wow: This is award worthy. Had Pusha T won over him I would've understood but Cardi's album is nothing special at all :hhh: I woulda went blind rolling my eyes if she took home album of the year.

Jay Rock not getting nominated is the most fukk shyt the grammys did.

:camby: Caclemore won over Kendrick before so. Its always been fukk the grammys though

You don't see me saying the Grammys are known for getting it right:whoa:
But you won't see outrage like you saw after Macklemore won, based on the weakness of this years category.
Nobody had a defining, hyped classic this year.

“undeserving” artists have always won grammys...even tho I’m annoyed she won...I can’t say I’m surprised...tekashi69 tho and his acceptance in this industry prior to his legal shyt left an ugly stain on hip hop for me as far as turning points go...a lot of hip hop veterans were preparing to top him off (:dame:) once they seen his buzz wasn’t gonna go away before the arrest

Literally

I literally gave up on new Rap music in 2003

A niqqa was all shocked that I hadn't heard Killer Mike from 2006. I told y'all. Hip Hop ended already. I'm good with my Classic 90s and 80s and 70s shyt.

I've even heard dope shyt that I play twice then forget about.

Turns out I was right. They just prop an actual whore up on stage and dress her up. Write every word and press every button for her and THAT represents the BEST Rap has to offer this past year

Ha!

Keep idolizing actual whores Brehs

Who DIDN'T see this coming? I totally predicted this would win rap Album of the Year.

I don't hate Cardi B but her music is starting to bore me. Same subject matter in every song. Sex, high end fashion, money, and p*ssy power. That only works for so many songs before it gets boring as fukk
