Good contest but too much contact, I think it should have been called a foul. But they won't call that a foul with the ball all on the defender's hands so its :manny:

Allen got 4 point plays last game and he suffered much less than that though he clearly got fouled too.

after watching the replay again....yeah, that foul is so blatant that you should call that regardless of time
They don't call fouls on replay though.

Plays like that, you watch as it happens, you know that your call is pretty much gonna decide the game, you see Bosh get ALL BALL up top and you let time expire on a great defensive play :yeshrug: No ref is gonna call that in real time.

i said that it was an obvious foul in real time, and i know that plenty of obvious fouls get ignored at the end of the game

after watching a replay i realized it was too bad of a foul to ignore....tons of body contact with no where for the shooter to land.

im not a professional ref and im not getting paid so they should be expected to have a better understanding than we do in real time

yea they ain't calling that if you palm the whole goddamn ball.

theres more to a foul than hitting someone on the hand/arm though

But it wasn't.

You give the defender the benefit of the doubt for making the dynamic play in that situation every time.

1 second left and Danny Green AINT a superstar either to be entitled to that bailout :yeshrug:

Kawai Leonard karate chopped Mike Miller in the face before dunking on him :yeshrug:

i understand that you might have missed the body contact depending on your viewing angle, but theres no way you can tell me it wasn't blatantly obvious that bosh didnt give the shooter a space to land. that alone makes the contest an obvious foul.

Tony Parker didn't give Ray Allen no space to land, watch the replay. Allen had to grab TP's shirt from falling after planting his feet.

Im glad im not the only one noticing this.

Literally every single call that was questionable either way, he sided with a favorable decision for the Spurs :heh:

The commentary was starting to become unlisteable for a little bit towards the end.

I've never seen an announcer slurp LeBron as much as Breen though so it balances out.

300 murders a year
The foul that should have been called was on that ginobli drive

But the way manu got paid to blow that game for the spurs he likely would have blown both fts anyway so nvm

They probably didn't call it to spare ginobli the embarrassment

Obvious foul. But good non-call nevertheless.

Manu got hacked too. But they're also not gonna call that at that point in the game.

You gotta be a superstar to get those kinds of calls in that situation.:crawford:
