They cant explain why humans are conscious and other living things are not so deja vu would be even harder to understand. I want to see the future to win the lottery and avoid dangerous situations in life.
I've been thinking, that explanation for deja vu never made sense. Since we are living the past, present and future at the same time then it means our memories are connected to ourselves in the future. I believe sometimes our brain recognizes future experiences before being aware of what's happening in the present, like a glitch or bug. That would explain deja vu being a glitch, where our future memories became real before the present reality we are living.

can you prove time really exist w/o a clock or watch.... if man was never here, the universe still goes on

Dogs, whales, chimps aren't conscious? They cant explain why humans are conscious and other living things are not so deja vu would be even harder to understand. I want to see the future to win the lottery and avoid dangerous situations in life.

maybe, who's to say? i always linked it to the concept of perception, like how we perceive passage and change thru a span of time. i think there's truly a way to live your life in a way where you can live it in a blink of an eye, where little to no time seems to have passed yet years might have passed. not purely by "doing" a lot of things, but it could be without doing practically anything. maybe to preserve the spirit of the mind? i also think because of the illusion of time we run the risk of not possibly calculating our positions by the end of a "time span". so, we'd fall short on preparation of our expectations or have none at all. deja vu and things of that nature are more complex to me. the only excuse i could have is that we do have ability to see into our futures and we're always making mental "calculations" as to where we might end up. sometimes we hit them, other times we don't.I've been thinking, that explanation for deja vu never made sense. The weirdest deja vu is when you have seen a situation happen literally and feel like you've lived through it literally and then do something different to get another outcome. I don't mean it in the logical do x and y will happen so let me try something different but literally to feel like you have lived through an x to y scenario, same colour, same detail, same words but think no, that's not for me let me do something different this time...it's creepy but cool.

I do get that sometimes.
Last time it happened to me I had spent a few days prior trying to remember when that situation happened, started to think I had imaged it so when it was actually happening I was like shyt I've seen this before!
