Not before their banking system implodes. The government is propping everything up but the debt is ridiculous, growth slowing. Rich Chinese people aren't moving to LA and Detroit for no reason - they're escaping and buying up land. They know the hammer is about to hit.
Lots has been written about Xi maintaining power/remaining president. The communist party likely senses global instability (Russian aggression, US tension, etc) but also has to be concerned about the threat of the party collapsing if the economy implodes.
They're probably happy Trump won in some ways. Trump killing TPP will only help China even more.

Go to any university and damn near half and in some cases a majority of the professors and PhD candidates are foreigners
Hell, I went to an hbcu in the south an all but a couple of the professors in my department were foreigners.
The engineering building - it felt like the United nations in that bih sometimes.
And ofcourse the school loved them bc that meant more funding
Most Americans just aren't competitive in school so these immigrants with their go getter mentality snatch up all the good shyt.

I feel like the media does not talk about XI enough. Its almost as if they talk about the Chinese as one person.
I know the Chinese in general use smart power more than hard power but he still is one of the few Chinese Presidents in recent decades to have this much power and influence not seen since Mao Zedong. Its very similar to Putin and being the most powerful since Stalin.
I still wouldn't say they are happy Trump won though, they seemed irritated and furious from their initiation reactions when he won.
