only thing quik missed out on was bein' on a label like an interscope so that he could've had a machine like that label to propel and promote him in the way that dre has had with interscope. quik didn't luck up with the right people in the way that dre did

quik had the profile deal which was a bunch of shyt, then his deal with arista went sour then he went independent with bungaloo, at 1 point he was with warner brothers and now he got his indie mad science recordings

dre got lucky with interscope when he was with death row and post death row. interscope/jimmy iovine has been dre's safety net when he left ruthless records and when he left death row records. interscope gave him 2 chances at a new start

but all that said, quik is still the best from the west
