reddit isn't hyperlocal in the way twitter is and to my understanding sending a tweet is as easy as texting someone(including adding photos/videos).
Reddit is very poorly laid out in comparison to Twitter it's like a wild west version of Twitter lol.
The live tweeting from everything to elections, sporting events, civil unrest, push notifications etc is goat. As you said it saves a lot of time compared to how I previously used the internet.the #1 thing I like about twitter is my ability to type something that just happened in the search and get a clip of it
that shyt would take hours/days to hit google/youtube
usually it's just something dumb like a basketball highlight or some other unimportant shyt, but losing almot immediate access clips of news/current events stuff to link people to is gonna suck.
U need $$$$Negligible would be a serious understatement in regards to my IT background, but is there some reason they couldnt...u know...just build a new and improved version of twitter?
In fact, this a golden opportunity for one of our gifted ACTUAL IT brehs to cash in on the ensuing social media vacuum

If that perspective is the real one, then it made perfect sense for him to buy it for $44 billion. A great investment that will net him extraordinary profits when he finally finds a way to squeeze the money out of the worldwide need for twitter.
You can't go wrong if you've got the monopoly on something the world needs that's a unique product/service.
To me Twitter clean as hell when I use reddit I have to think about what I'm doing never liked how it looked on the classic or current version.
