Your feelings doesnt negate my point. Twitter been shytty and i dont need elon musk to make me know that.
Stop with this little boy energy and man up instead of reporting me because you dont like my words. You should manage your emotions better. The women on this forum have better emotional control than you dudes in here crying over racist white men. Elon aint shyt. We all know that. I would be more worried about neuralink and him being coups in foreign countries instead of him managing twitted which has always been shytty. You lost the moment you used it anyway.
Some of you dudes are acting like bytches for men who wouldnt even save you if their lives depended on it. Stop embarrassing yourselves.
The thing to remember is that 300 million people on Twitter means that there are 7.7 billion people who aren't using it.
So for some people to say Twitter is an accurate representation of what's going on or how the world is thinking is a little misleading.
At the end of the day, It's survivorship bias: many people of those 300 million are people desperate for attention, so when you read twitter you got to approach it with the caution that you're about to read content from people who are freaking out or want to get your attention rather than thinking it's accurate information from people who are level-headed. A lot of those people posting on that site like to wade in negativity.
For example, think of the smart people at work or that person who is successful and in a happy family. They're not on Twitter. There's no reason for them to be.
If you want posts from those types of people and to really stay with the real latest news from people who don't want to damage their reputation then the best site is Linkedin. In fact, many of the breakthroughs and innovations are posted on Linkedin first because people who have legit, verified skills are trying to connect professionally to work on interesting problems. The real life credentials are there to verify. Those reports people make on twitter and reddit are old news compared to Linkedin, who are already working on the next wave.
In comparison, Twitter is more full of people who talk a big game and shyt post, but that's all they do because it's 300 million (somewhat mentally unstable) people looking for attention. Twitter is buzzword-central from people who don't really know what they're talking about compared to Linkedin. Most of Twitter's traffic is he-said, she-said, most of Linkedin's activity are people discussing real shyt from verified sources because their reputation and consequently their way of life are on the line.
I'd say maybe for more current affairs/breaking news Twitter and reddit got you covered and all the speculation babble.linkedin isn't public, it's just another information silo.
people do announce breakthroughs and innovations on twitter as well, it's basically a PSA platform.
reddit posts announcing breaking news or announcements tend to cite twitter more than any other site.
By numbers and users, Twitter is at the bottom of the main social media apps, the better way to say it is most important, when it comes to real time news/update. But IG, FB, Tiktok, etc all beat it by a mile when it comes to users.Definitely false, and not even close.
TikTok has 1 billion active monthly users.
Twitter got ~300 million active monthly users. Which means 7.7 billion people out there ain't even reading twitter.
That gap is probably increased further by Twitter's recent decisions.
We already lost if we needed Twitter to access immediate information, it should've never gotten to that point.
Real A.I developments most likely.@IIVI
A.I developments are breaking on linkedin more than everywhere else?
like i said before linked in is a information silo. twitter is/was public facing. even with the new restrictions, it's more accessible than linkedin.
Real A.I developments most likely.
People's side projects they're trying to shill people are probably announced on Twitter to sucker people into signing up.
You go on Linkedin and you'd know for example about ChatGPT plugins were being developed and wouldn't have wasted time and money subscribing to 3rd party plugins for a few months.
All those smart professionals working at Boston Dynamics sharing what they're doing on Linkedin are not all in the videos clout-chasing posting on twitter first for example.
For example: go to Bston Dynamics' Linkedinpage > click on People > Click on Education: M.I.T > view the team who works at Boston Dynamics that went to M.I.T and see what they're working on. That's much more real and legit.
Here you go for example, find these people's twitter accounts, probably won't have that many:
LinkedIn Login, Sign in | LinkedIn

No they ain'tside projects
real A.I developments are happening in the open source community
those people on linkedin are for sure following what devs are talking about on twitter.

Leaked Google Memo Claiming “We Have No Moat, and Neither Does OpenAI” Shakes the AI World
A leaked Google memo ignites debate as it claims open-source AI could outpace tech giants' proprietary models, raising concerns about OpenAI and Google’s future as they develop closed AI models.www.artisana.ai

did you even read the memo ?No they ain't
They getting paid money to solve certain problems by the U.S military for example.
And twitter was always bullshyt and anti black if we going to keep it 100. You guys have to be really dense to suddenly dislike it because of elon musk.
Elon killed the one actual use Twitter had that set it apart from other social media, the ability to quicky and widely disseminate information. His putting a battery in the back of white supremacists is secondary.did you even read the memo ?
here a open source side project development that happened last week
META team got beat to the bunch by this guys side project
it wasn't announced on linkedin first.
were else should we be accessing immediate information?
I mean i've literally felt tremors or have the power go out and I'd check on twitter to see within a minute of it happening that people are commenting on the same experience in my city.
conEd has never confirmed a power outage in a tweet before residents mention online. twitter gets past all the "official" announcements and journalists report on that. they'll mention online users before the company even have time to put out a statement.
