Your statement is nice and all, but to be honest it's just not feasible. You can't blame some people for not wanting to leave the comfort of a stable career and check. My boy Cory wanted to start a business and all, and asked me did I want to invest. I thought about all I had to lose and realized it wasn't worth it. His business is respectable; but not profitable at the moment. It's just how it is. Also With high college student debt (which is the second biggest debt in the country), asking people to add more debt is just not a winning proposition.

eh.. people need to think long-term. your friends business isn't profitable...now. you think a lot of these big corporations just blew up overnight? that college debt doesn't seem to be an issue when ppl blowing racks on materialism. i hear a lot of excuses when it comes to investing money but we cant just live for today.

it is definitely feasible to invest while working. it takes sacrifice but many people aren't willing to forgo cable, or other useless material items.
