First we (the customers) are asked to tip to make up for the owner’s shytty pay, now we’re asked to tip more for enduring shytty service due to the owner’s shytty planning. Tipping in America is such a scam.

Don't tip period. I don't need someone to take my order or bring me my plate. If I could I'd talk to tha chef my self n pick up my plate from tha window when ready no issues.

I'd tip tha CHEF but even then...I already paid for the meal so that seems redundant.

..AND THERES DOZENS OF TABLES BEING SERVED, BUT ONLY 2 WAITERS SERVING THE PACKED HOUSE.

IN TURN, YOU GET BAD SERVICE BECAUSE THE WAITER IS LITERALLY RUNNING BETWEEN TABLES, FORGETTING TO GET YOU THINGS THAT YOU ASKED FOR, RARELY TENDING TO YOUR TABLE, DOESNT GET YOU REFILLS ON YOUR DRINK, ETC.

BUT U CAN SEE HE’S BUSTING HIS ASS AND TRYING HIS HARDEST, THE PLACE IS JUST SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED, WHICH IS NOT HIS FAULT.

WOULD YOU TIP MORE BECAUSE YOU FEEL BAD FOR HOW HARD THE WAITERS ARE WORKING OR WOULD YOU TIP LESS BECAUSE YOU GOT AWFUL SERVICE?

This literally happened today at Buffalo Wild Wings a few hrs ago. The food was terrible & I wasn’t feeling it. But when the dude came back to finally check on us I told him I wasn’t happy with the food. He apologized and I explained it wasn’t his fault the food was just trash. My niece wasn’t pleased with her food but I told him I would pay for everything, just asked him to not put my trash burger on the bill. He didn’t charge me for it & I paid the bill.

I tipped $5.

WELL HIS PERFORMANCE INDIVIDUALLY IS EXCELLENT BECAUSE HE’S DOING THE JOB OF 4 PEOPLE AT ONCE

BUT THE SERVICE STILL SHIITY BECAUSE THE ESTABLISHMENT IS UNDERSTAFFED, WHICH MEANS THE PERFORMANCE OF THE RESTAURANT AS A WHOLE IS TERRIBLE, MAKING IT A BAD EXPERIENCE FOR U OVERALL
