Norfeast groovin…
That's not the entire story though. Shaq was rejuvenated and killing it in the finals. He had nobody who could guard him. Both wallaces couldn't stop him.

It was a choice on Kobe's part to play hero ball. Since time has passed, kobe fans have started to admit he was to blame for that debacle. The stans though? They pretend like it never happened.

Breh, that whole squad was a debacle on the low. Our next PF was Slava Medvedenko, GP didn't fit in at all, our bench was depleated from years of negligence, the power struggle that began after Jerry West's departure was coming to a head.

Laker fans know it was way more than just Kobe, he's not innocent but there are a lot of people that are guilty.

Rose? He was the best player in 2010.

Nash deserved it in 2005, even though a case could have been made for Shaq.

Dirk... it is a regular season award. HE made up for it last year.
LMFAO @ making up for an award 5 years later. :what:

The Dirk of last year was not the Dirk you saw in 07. He wasn't even a top 5 player that year. Dude was easily stopped on offense by 6'7 players. He had no post game to speak of. :what:

:laff: @ Rose being the best player in 2010. :laff:

Mitch Kupchak was to blame for that debacle. He didn't address any of the needs that haunted us in 2003 and that nearly cost us the ring in 2002.

We lacked athleticism, slashers, shooters and youth.

It does.

Rose, Nash, Dirk winning MVPs were a fukking joke.

Dont mean to go on a rant, and Im in the extreme minority, but I thought they except for maybe rose deserved their MVP's.:mjpls:
Hear me out

-Nash in 05' took a team that won 29 games into the best team in the league(62 wins)making them one of the best offensive teams of all time(look it up)
And amare, Marion, joe Johnson, all them nikkaz got better because of him. They won STRICTLY because of their all time offense, and that was because of him. That, and there was really no one else.
- in 06' Kobe was the best player but his team was 45 games, that ain't good enough. Nash lost Amare and Joe but they still won 50 plus games, he upped his scoring and they still had the best offensive team in the league. I really had no problem with this
-07' dirk wasn't better then bean, but you can't tell me the 07' Mavs are a 67 win squad breh:yeshrug: they had the best record, dirk had a great year so It was deserved IMO.

not me rose clearly was the mvp that year.i honor mvp's it shows that there is more to basketball then scoring.people think cuz u score the most points u the best:rudy:

Your putting prime Kobe in a box of just being a scorer. That's the problem.

He was an all around player that gave you everything. Scoring defense facilitating rebounding etc.

One round in the playoffs? He's played in 44 playoff games in 15 years. He's 33 and already in the autumn of his career while Kobe was leading teams to the Finals at the same age. McGrady was an extremely talented offensive player but as a number 1 option he's not in Kobe's weight class. McGrady is a lot closer to a Chris Webber (who I also think is better than McGrady) than he is to a Kobe Bryant.
