Why do a lot of nikkas on here act like it's either or?
You can have a career/job but still start your business while you do it
Most of you act like either you have a job, or you have a business. Like you have to be jobless in order to start a business.
Black men need to stop using that as an excuse for why they don't even try to start businesses. "I can't quit my job" uhh, you don't have to.
I'm a prime example that you can work while you're starting your own business, that's exactly what i did

I don't understand the mentalities of a lot of other black men these days. This whole "just be grateful for anything" mindset is rampant. Idk, i notice that a lot of nikkas will defend almost anything, and are ok with the bar being set as low it can go. Like the standards are almost absent.
It's like nikkas rather be servants than kings.
One example of many. Somebody on here said they notice a lot of Latinos getting into trades and putting each other on, and starting more businesses together as well (esp restaurants and grocery stores), causing a lot more black men to be relegated to menial jobs or being under-employed by white employers, and instead of seeing it as an issue, almost everybody was like, "As long as they got a job! We should be glad, nothing wrong with nikkas working at McDonald's or Wal Mart, as long as they getting paid!"
We weren't talking about teenagers, we were talking about black men in their 20s and 30s, some of which have kids
I mean nothing is wrong with working at somewhere like McDonald's temporarily, but it's definitely not something to get all comfortable with. But collectively, we set our standards so low that nikkas are "grateful" to be low ranking underpaid servants for white men, instead of trying to become bosses of something. These nikkas love shytting on entrepreneurship, they love the current status quo.
