If White Women benefit from DEI the most, then why are we mad at Trump for getting rid of it?

Am I missing something?

I mean everything THINKS its for Black people (which was the intention) but the actual list of beneficiaries are:

1. White Women/Male CEOs
2. Latino/Hispanic Americans
3. Asian Americans
4. Native Americans
5. Disabled Americans
6. Veterans
7. LGBTQ+
8. Black Americans

So why are we crashing out and complaing the most? Are we being used for the white liberal movement ...or am I missing something

What you are missing is that we as black people still benefited from it, even if it wasn't to the degree we had hoped.

Trump isn't replacing it with something that is better for black people. He is removing it, so all the black people that benefited will no longer have a leg up.

Celebrating that white women don't benefit from it anymore doesn't negate the black people who will also lose out

Also, DEI for all intents and purposes now stands for 'anything that benefits black people'. It's coded language that basically means "We don't want black people to get a leg up", so not only is he taking away a policy that was put in place to try to help up, he is creating an atmosphere where people go out of their way to make sure we don't get future opportunities.

I don't think you are quite grasping the world we live in right now. They are more likely to call you a DEI for everything. They called the white military woman who crashed the helicopter a DEI hire even tho she was in the top 20% of her class.

Conservatives target intiatives that benefits race or gender minorities. Those who fight for civil rights, freedoms aren't often the main beneficiaries. It doesn't erase the fact that (a) they did (b) the option existed for them (c) the small number that did benefit are better for it. Repealing DEI is pandora box for discriminatory practices. It'll go from work to education, officials, farmers and any position that has thriving minorities.

It didn't pretend to help us. It actually helped us, just not to the degree we would've liked. Affirmative Action is basically DEI. You are convinced that it is some newfangled thing, but it's about giving opportunity to under-privileged people. This is what they are eroding, and I think you are too focused on the phrasing to see what is happening.
