I'll be honest with you. Don't waste time with a proof of concept. Go all the way. You're black. White guys and Asians can walk with some shyt scribbled on a napkin. You can't. In tech now and wasted so much time developing MVPs hoping to get funding. No traction. Built my own product fully at great personal cost, now 'm generating real revenue that allows me to support myself. My ideas weren't the problem, my visage was.

Minimum Viable Product. I hate when people talk about building things on here and someone inevitably pops up talking about how "they" won't allow it. There will be obstacles and resistance. All that means is that you'll have to take more responsibility on and wear more hats. You can't be afraid to ask for help and leverage any and all available resources. I can openly admit I wasted several years thinking I could succeed in the same manner as my white contemporaries. Once I wisened up, I was far more efficient and effective in my overall execution. And best of all there's no one else eating from my pie. Because animation and publishing have so many moving pieces that may not be realistic for you; but I just thought I'd open your mind up to the common struggles you'll face.

Those quagmires of uncertainty are where you do the most growing. Don't fear them. They sharpen the mind in amazing ways. You'll get to a certain point where you have to hide the pity you feel for anyone afraid to take risks and fail.
