Is this a true statement?:jbhmm:

I would say yes. It is a transformative event, at least it was in my life.

Example... the first time your retirement investments earn more than you can contribute in a year.

The first time you receive rental income from a property you own.

Your first annual dividend-income statement.

All of these were days that I had :ohhh: moments.

Also I don't know what you mean by "believer" in capitalism, but yes passive income is the shyt.

It's true, but it's DEFINITELY overstated on social media, because the average person is lazy and is looking for the easiest way to do something. That's why you have people out here who are making $13 an hour but spend their time talking about Bitcoin and stocks, as though that shyt is gonna change their situation. Passive income is obviously better than active income, but if you don't have a large amount of money in the first place, "passive" income ain't doing much for you, and you're gonna need active income to create the passive income.

I've always been fine with capitalism

I just want a stronger safety net :yeshrug:

I just want it to be that I don't literally have to be homeless on the streets and potentially DIE if I don't have a good enough job.

That's inexcusable :yeshrug:

Not really, many communists/socialists and shyt literally cannot live without participating in this capitalist system.

You have to pay to live in this world we live in, as a citizen you are obligated to work. And communes, co-ops, etc. are incredibly out of reach and barred from the average person due to public policy and rent/zoning restrictions. So communists still have to pay a landlord most of the time.

It’s in a way similar to how black people in this country get treated like shyt and experience systemic racism - yet instead of collectively revolting we pretty much just take it as a community. Would you argue that black people “believers” in systemic racism just because we’re forced to experience discrimination and poverty?

While that may not be the best example, it shows how a blanket statement is much more complex and nuanced to the point where it’s a leading statement perpetuating a particular agenda.

It's possible to make money off crypto if you
1.) Find coins with a high% Stake. VET, ADA just to name a few. Coinbase, Atomic Wallet will have these listed
2.) Continue investing. Only put what you're willing to invest. Don't be putting your entire savings!
