If you want you can access the Windows app store plus with Chrome installed you will have Chrome OS as of today! shyt is just magical! Full windows check! 8-10 hr battery life check! Free 2013 full MS office check!

No doubt, I must admit that i prefer my Surface 2 over my Dell Venue Pro. Its just seems to be much smoother in my opinion.

Windows 8 tablets are both far superior to both the iOS and Android tabs though. Nothing beats streaming sports games on my tablet like im on my desktop. Full Word, Powerpoint, and Excel doesn't hurt either.

Did you go to Dell support and update the bios, intel drivers and touch firmware? Those have my dell running like gangbusters!

I don't like the touch keyboard for typing period.

That is why I said I don't care about office on a tablet.

Edit: I was like you at first, that why I got the Nexus 10 instead of the Nexus 7. But the 10 is not very portable and the 8 inch is better for my issues.
