who do yall send beats out to? is there an easy way to do that nowadays or is soundcloud and beatstars still the best options?

They are all good options. Beatstars, airbit. and even Soundcloud has revamped and made everything automated to offer a similar service. It all depends on preference really. It comes down to marketing and bringing people to your store.

Look into making videos..

Record yourself cooking up,chopping samples..

I believe it's easier to get people to buy into your brand that.

Also instagram if you don't wanna go the video route...

Post some snippets of your beats with a link in your bio to your beat store.


To keep it 100 I got like 15 beats I made with this MPC and like 12 more made in fl studio but I wanna get monitors and make a proper mix before I put them up.

Tryna b consistent with branding my shyt thru video content

I just start hittin up artists thru DM on instagram and couple have responded so far. I usually am no free beats but im tryna build my portfolio so i been offering free joints to more established artists

Dropping a couple singles that summer with my homie who is a MC
