If Dems don't do sh*t for Black people in particular for the next 4-8 years, it'd be much better than Rethugs destroying the Voting Rights Act, gutting Obamacare, and putting more conservatives in federal courts, all while making multi-millionaires and billionaires exponentially richer. None of these are "scaremongering" or mere speculation; these are clearly stated goals of the current administration.

Neoliberalism (the economic theory) is destroying America, and right-wing ideology is accelerating that destruction. That effect is disproportionately affecting Black people. Mainstream Democrats are neoliberals as well, but they at least understand that capitalism has to be tempered with compassion to some degree. Democrats are sh*t, but I'd rather work with Dems than Rethugs. I'm standing on that.

I saw some of that Amy Coney Barrett bytch's confirmation hearing and she said that she would uphold the law the way that they were intended to be upheld by the founders.

Or something to that extent. What I got from that was she would be judging law in 2020 and beyond on a 1776 or even 1789 scale and I thought immediately what you thought. It was still slavery during that time.
