Thats what I was thinking. Is Flagg really gonna be ready to compete for chips out the gate? Kyrie out for next season anyway. So you looking at 26-27 with a 20 year old Flagg and 34 yr old Kyrie coming off an ACL and 33 yr old AD. That just doesnt sound like a fit.
As far as Giannis goes, he already leaving one injured PG, him and AD play the same position, and you gonna have to gut the roster to get him if you arent including AD or Kyrie.
How're are you winning now with Kyrie set to miss time with a major injury and injury prone AD. You could start the early part of the season with only Giannis out there.
You take Flagg so if the Kyrie and AD are hobbled you have something for the future. You can move them to contenders if need be to build a younger team.
Plus if Flagg ends up not being a generational first option he can fit into his natural role and not have to carry the team. Kyrie and AD will be the 1st and 2nd option and he can focus on defense, rebounding, and distributing until his offensive game develops. He fits in perfectly as a high end role player and once they retire or get traded maybe he's ready to be the #1 option or you build around around him being #2.
1) not 7'1 ft, he 6'9
2) Naismith player of the year and national honors, as a fkin freshman
3) literally balled at every level, despite nïggas saying he was a fluke "wait till .... Ohh....but wait till.... "
4) #SaluteTheFlagg
This whole forum sucked off Zion's fat, no jumper having ass...but folks really out here shìtting on Cooper Flagg before he plays an NBA game. Fat ass aside, y'all nīggas hitched wagons to WORSE players
