Sometimes our meal was just rice, with sugar in it. No butter because we didn't have any.

I still make that shyt to this day


I used to sneak extra sugar into the rice when moms wasn't looking


A few times a year we would get a plain brown box filled with bags of generic cereal with no label, but it was knockoffs of sweet cereals like Crunch Berries or Fruity pebbles.

That was the only time we would get cereal that was already sweet flavored, and it felt like Christmas

That gottdamn Peanut Butter was THICK AS HELL.

You for damn sure couldn't make no sammich with it unless you cooked it first
because you had to chisel it out the can with a REAL knife (if would Ben a butter knife),
and put it in the microwave to loosen it up. If you tried to put that PB on bread raw, it would
tear the chit outcho bread. Only two breads was man enough for gubment peanut butter:
Roman Meal and Home Pride.

It does. Theres actually very few name brands that are actually either on par or better than the maltomeal.


For instance frosted mini spooners are way better than Kellogg's frosted mini wheats. Kellogg's frosted mini wheats are trash, but the blueberry kind is probably the greatest cereal of all time. The strawberry one is ass and the chocolate one is even worse.
