Gotta remember jus cous a producer is good doesn't mean he's a good teacher. Large professor has helped, taught and enlighten some of da best. The horns on TROY he showed dat to Pete rock, taught havoc how 2 break down samples, primo got his whole filtering steez n more for xtra p. Too hard to pick just one

A lot of shyt I appreciate from these producers. Kanye and Heatmakerz sped up soul samples, 40's filters and the atmospheric vibe he gives to those 90's and 00's R&B samples, Timbo's ability to incorporate chirps and shyt in his beats, Pharrell's obscure sampling and versatility, Hav's G.O.A.T. drums, Pete Rock's jazz, Trackmasters are so underrated they got classics for days.

I'm a fan of the bass Organized Noize and Easy Mo Bee used to have in their beats back in the day.

Aside, from 40 another dope modern producer is Terrace Martin very musical dude.
