I'm old enough to remember the pagers and two ways along with cell phones that were about one third the size of your head were around as well.
I remember having to be a whole lot more social in 1990s too. You actually had to talk to people, because there was no phone to stare down at all night when conversation got short or during those awkward silences with people.
