That is genetically biased and eurocentric. Us indigenous fold with heavy genetics close to the equatorial nations tend to be hairless creatures. When was the last time you saw a shaman in the amazon looking like Rick Ross? No love for baby 'taches?
Start shaving. Specifically where there isn't any hair at; shave where you want it to grow.
Use hair clippers like in the barbershop (Andis T-outliners)..
I know you're thinking "Id just be shaving my skin if I did that", and you're probably right.. but what it does (did for me) was train/fertilize/prep that area for hair growth.
I don't know how. I don't know why. It just does.
When I was 19 I couldn't grow anything more than those "hook" style sideburns Ludacris had when he first came out:
That ^ was the exact pattern of my facial area.
I simply began "shaving" (running the clippers over) all the bald areas. What eventually happened was a steady growth from peach fuzz to 5oclock shadow to my HAVING to shave just to keep my shyt tame.
I was able to grow a full blown caveman Freeway Billy Dee Williams type beard in about a year's time from the time I began shaving the "bald" spots.

nikka because you couldn't grow hair at the age of 19, you think "shaving" the bald areas created hair growth nikka you were 19! there is no exact science to when or where a man grow hair.

I mean I read where 'they' say that the shyt is a 'myth', though..the whole shaving to produce thickness trick?..but I digress.. the shyt worked for ME and that's all I know.
It might not have been the end all/be all to why my shyt sprouted out but it was definitely what kickstarted the growth! The shaving woke up my inner Beardmanisms :ahhh:
