I assume so...also, would your dvr and guide functionality still work fine if you want to use the directv features themselves and not the xb1 "guide".....thinking about not even using the passthrough for directv....unsure

Bruh, you not FORCED to use the Xbox interface. But you will want to
You sound like you paranoid, I'm hoping you don't have a cellphone on you.. They tracking you right now via your GPS :damn:
And right now, you asking a question online, they tracing you right now.
You got any email accounts on your phone? THEY READING YOUR EMAILS DOGGY :hula:

Now, you can turn the camera off from options, or you can unplug it if you that concerned
The DVR you have to use with your Dtv remote. The xbox just allows you to change channels and the volume with your voice. You won't even need to know the channel you wanna watch. Any listing, you ask for it and the xbox will instantly find it and turn there. It'll also keep track of your favorite shows and channels so its easier to find. Then it will switch to another person if they start talking. If if the sound is all the way up, blasting.
You can talk in a normal voice and the XBox will still hear you fine

Im not concerned at all about the camera or tracking or none of that....I just wanted to know if I'll still be able to use the directv dvr features and everything as easy when its passed through the xb1 than just a straight hookup into my A/V receiver

nikka asked a simple question and you freaked out like Microsoft about to lose a customer :lolbron:

But yeah the hdmi pass through should still work when your x1 is off, id assume since the x1 is never really "off" unless you unplug it.:ehh:

And dvr is a function of the dtv box so that should work as normal
