There was a time that racism was THE wave, and white people held onto that shyt like religion. It was also easier because of segregation, so the chance
of having a decent interaction with a black man or woman was remote. In this day and age, you have to try extra hard to not speak to different people.
Generations past didn't live the reality of easy access and nearly lightspeed gentrification. There is merit to looking around and guarding against racism,
as pretending it is gone is how you end up a victim to it in the worst way. However, we can look at the 60's and every decade before it and see how our
people used to get dealt with DAILY stepped right outside their doorstep.
We got a long ass way to go, but it ain't that goddamn serious. To be fair though, America was built on racism, so unfortunately, the system itself is inherently
racist. Whomever is within the system, whites and black, tend to perpetuate it. The system has to fall, more than anything.
