When I was a little kid, there were two things I wanted: to be an astronomer and to marry a black ballet dancer.
Maybe about five years ago, I took a trip to the planetarium and met this gorgeous black woman who was working in one of the labs. She was getting her PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Chicago and was conducting research on gamma ray admissions from starburst galaxies. The pep talk that black woman gave me about pursuing my passion and getting into astrophysics had a breh wanting to give it all to her.
And to top it off, she is a ballet dancer.
This is actually her:
If this wasn’t a sign brehs, I don’t know what was (was shooting my shot but found out she was engaged (the good ones are always taken)). Seriously contemplating going back for Astrophysics.
In undergrad I double majored in finance and accounting.
