sly stone is my pick
nobody writes like him, sings like him etc etc. he's was a true innovator and pioneer in music
sly stone was just too incredible for words, a true genius
sly stone wrote standard songs in music; with his sound, he had like a slick sense of pop sensibility but it was still soulful at the core surrounded by funk, i'm talkin' bout like funkiest smell you can imagine!
