It's not just national matters. I would hope people at least vote in local/state elections, that affects their lives more immediately than national ones.

Politics without money is about as useful as car without an engine.
You get the money first. Then you buy/fund the politicians. Then you get the laws and policies made that benefit you via those politicians you own. Then you buy the police force.
I know it sounds crude, but its the same formula you see in gangster movies. Except this time done by regular people who use their money as a tool to gain political clout. Jews do this. Gays do this. Latinos do this. The Mafia does this. Skinheads do this.
But guess who doesn't? And guess who keeps losing?
Powers in Washington get black celebrities to push that "Vote or Die" bullsh#t in order to gain free votes from blacks and urban communties. What do I mean by free votes? Free votes being "I give you this vote just because I decided to vote." Blacks have been given this "your ancestors died for the right to vote" speech so many times that we take voting like some form of sacrament that is above transactional purpose.
No, voting is a transaction. It is meant to be a transaction. And if you're not getting something from your vote, then you simply lost. And since blacks are politically naive, and Washington knows this, they push this narrative to get as many free votes as they can.
Jews are the best example of political transaction. They do not vote for the sake of voting. They don't vote as some form of "now, we can vote because Hitler is dead" mumbo jumbo. They vote for specific reasons and they use their political donations as a means of buying and controlling politicians. This is why American spends so much protecting Israel. This is why Jews are on the ground floor in so many industries. This is why discrimnating against Jews publicly can get you blacklisted in a New York minute.
Until blacks learn how to collectively write some checks and use politicians to get things done for black people, then voting by itself if masturbatory.

i think that if you've been following right wing rhetoric for a while then you'd be making a pretty wise choice to vote straight democrat (or republican depending on you're political philosophy). Politics have become so polarized that it's hard to find a real moderate on any issue at this point.
