Our folks fought for our rights to vote because it's one of the front lines to protect our civil rights.It's not just about candidates, there are propositions that I didn't even know about until I read the voting forms. There could be a sneaky proposition to round up blacks in chains or other shyt to increase black strife and you wouldn't even know about it.
If they know blacks are a powerful voting block, shyt will get done in our favor.

It's not blindly if you just pay attention. Ferguson is a perfect example on what happens when blacks don't vote.
Look at the NRA. Nobody fukks with the NRA because they are a powerful voting block. shyt, they are so powerful that even when kindergarten kids got gunned down and the nation was calling for some form of gun contol, the politicians dared not go against them.

You're giving an overwhelming amount of credence to voting. In the world of politics if you hope to have any power or influence then you need money. Dollars hold more weight than your ballot. Feminism is being taken seriously (despite being a stupid idea) because there's alot of money being pushed behind these activist campaigns. Ditto for gay rights. Some rich people don't even bother to vote. They just throw some money at some scumbag senator if they want something done. That's how the political world works.
