I like kids but I don't consider myself mature enough to have some of my own tbh. Would love to try to "pass on" some of the stuff I've learned and all the cultural stuff (books, music, whatever) to someone but my upbringing was kinda complicated and I believe those frustrations (not material-wise) would be passed on to my kids, even if only unconsciously.

That's the thing if you truly love the kid it won't matter what stages they go through or what financial burdens they carry they are your life they don't negatively impact your life. Being a parent isn't a sacrifice in the eyes of parents who make their children their it's a life transition.

Be careful about having kids with anyone, some places child support is till the kid is 21 years. Rumour has it they wanna raise it till 25 lol. Nowadays people live at home well in to their twenties.

Have kids but be very picky to who you wanna have them with.
