I ain't had chitlins in bout 5 or 6 years. I used to kill them thangs with a little bit of hot sauce. Don't really have a taste for them now. My momma eats those pickled pig feet every once in a while. I tried to eat it one time but nah, couldn't do it.

Used to love to eat both when I was a kid. Kats used to pickle pig feet. They are sticky because they are mostly fat probably. I tried chitlins after a fifteen or so year hiatus recently just outta curiosity. Couldn't stop thinking about what they were. Couldn't mess with it. I also don't fool with crawfish anymore. Everybody looks at me crazy when I reveal that one.
Yeah my grandma used to cook them on special holidays. I was always the kid trying to act like I could eat anything. shyt was mad nasty but I acted like the shyt was good.

as long as they cleaned real good I can get down with them ..........and yeah Chitlins are a food that you really gotta trust the cook on

you know how it smells. I have only smelled chitlins once and it scarred me for life.
