We went to a lil chain spot. So, she didn't break her bank. But, she is a good woman! She came into it game righteously and we been together ever since.
Thing is with my lady, she isn't high maintenance. She lives modesty and strives to live within her means. She isn't with me because of my finances. She is with me because she actually cares/loves me (according to her).
Keep in mind that we are similar in age and is beyond the game playing stage of life, so perhaps that is the reason why things are working out between us.

In my opinion, if you spend what your comfortable with spending on the date, you're good. You ate, and then if you had a good time, even better. And if she calls back and says she enjoyed herself, you're golden. I prefer just to pay for the dates and then just control where we're going and then consider it a small test of her range of audacity/entitlement. If all things check, we're fine.
