For a long time as a kid I only ate oatmeal everyday... not because I liked it but because it was cheap and it lasted for many days :mjcry:

Winter time was always hell because we would get no hot water so when I took baths (we couldn't afford having a shower back then) we had to fill up the big pot with water and let it warm up on the stove for a good hour then poured it in with the cold bath water so it could be warm :sadcam:

it honestly was back and forth for me. my parents did fine together, but shyt got a bit harder when my pops passed. one week we had groceries, one week, find whatever we could. i get worried about that struggle happening to me as i get older.

Got a million stories but not really in the mood to type out too much.
Quick one, I remember about a year period where i only had two pairs of sweat pants to wear, no jeans or anything else. I made it look like it was my style to wear sweats. :lolbron:

yeah my parents were poor financially but was smart with their lil income and sacrificed so I always had what I needed...and its like that with my whole family

we have 0 family wealth so I had to start from scratch...but its cool...I think struggle is important, it builds character

PJ's to the Burbs
:mjcry: Y'alls stories giving me flashbacks

But the struggles make you appreciate what you got and wha you been thru. Had to break it down to my kid today, he f'd up his DS he ain't even have a month and I broke down in tears tellin him wha I been thru and not take for granted wha he got.

Started off an immigrant in the pj's now living in a gated, keep yo heads up and stay on yo grind.
