If you had a 10 year old black son, how would you teach him about racism

Literally, just teach him about everything white people have done to black people (and some of what they have done to other people of color).

Then also point to what other people have done to black people so he knows there are no friends in this game. He can put two and two together and know what he's dealing with.

Bonus lesson:
I would also teach him about every historic black c00n. I would teach him that there were c00ns that were against the abolishment of slavery, against Malcom X and against MLK. These c00ns would rather black people suffer than have equal opportunity.

I would point out that there were c00ns that stood AGAINST all the progress that we have today so that he understands how dangerous the c00n mind is and he can spot out the modern day c00ns and treat them accordingly.

That's a good question. Because our real history hasn't been discussed our black authors focus their energy on dispelling the lies and giving us real accounts of our contribution to civilization and society but because we have so much to cover I don't know if any black author has ever written a book dedicated to the traitors and c00ns. I guess its one of those things where we will have to look at all the most notable detractors of black progress and study their history.

This. I didn't let any of y kids listen to hip-hop music like that until he was 12 or 13. Teaching your son about racism is an ongoing conversation and people don't realize that.

I wouldn't teach him about racism. I think racism is something that everyone has to experience on their own. I mean look at all the black dudes walking around talmbout how they love white people and they've never felt left out. Those dudes obviously experience racism in a different way then me, maybe my kid will be the same, wouldn't want to jade him by pushing my ideals on him.

Plus i remember when my parents used to talk to me about racism when i was a kid i always thought they were just crazy. I had to grow up and experience it for myself. You can talk about this stuff non stop but its not the same as experiencing it.

I think letting them experience it is the correct answer. Racism is a lot more subtle than it was back in the day. If you go hard talking about lynchings and slavery they're gonna be like "well it's not like that anymore, we love each other now".

Well I wouldn't try to scare my child into hating white people by showing him history, might as well go in and show him horrible shyt from every group of people if that's my goal. That's not giving him an honest view of history and anyone who does that is scum imo, tantamount to brainwashing.
But I'd do what my grandmother did and just give me books, watch tv specials, make me want to learn on my own and tell stories.

Reading this, I noticed my parents did this but very subliminally. I grew up in a majority black city though but I knew at a very young age what the game was since our city was bordered on all sides by predominantly white towns where "we" weren't allowed. I hope we have things figured out in this country before my little one comes of age, but I highly doubt it.
