I’ll be honest, if your son is moving in that direction, it’s best to let them.

Sometimes figures in our families are sort of sacrificial like, in other words they do what they do because they can and don’t really have any other goal other than advancing the family from certain stand points

I realized this not too long ago with my family. The things I do bring honor to us in a different way, even if it’s not everything they would have wanted for me to participate in or even if I’m not living how they imagine.

Parents are a lot more forgiving than we imagine especially if they can see we are making our way in the world

I remember when NLE Choppa was on the Breakfast Club way back and his mom was up there as his spokesperson. She was talking like dude was some young groundbreaking genius doing things we've never seen before. Soon as I saw what young breh was about I hit the :gucci:

I don't know if dude's pops is in the picture or not but it seemed like the most brain-dead shyt ever. Like why fund and promote your like 15-year-old kid rapping with military-grade straps he can't legally buy. Y'all are obviously middle class at worst. That's the type of shyt you want your kids and grandkids on over some bread? :aicmon:
