The result of your reasoning is shyt breh.

It's really not. D Rob didn't do anything as a scorer that Davis doesn't right now at the age of 22 years old. His defensive IQ improves and he continues to get more comfortable in the low post (Something D Rob never was) and he'll be better. If you don't think he'll improve dramatically from where he is now then maybe you can't see it, but I can because I see the areas that he has room to grow.

Lets say the NBA was starting over and all players had to enter the draft and you had the 1st pick thanks to Dan Gilbert's son representing you at the lotto:blessed: Who would you pick:lupe: Keep in mind age, potential, whether they're injury prone, and current skills. Also would you try to win quick or build a young talented team that might take awhile to win. And before any bytch nikka gets to:sadbron: other is an option:stopitslime:
LeBron James. Best player? No. But he carries a lot of good and bad notoriety with him. That's good for the team. It puts the team in the spotlight. You don't want your team to be in ghost mode, like the Utah Jazz. People be like, "Utah has a team?" That's bad mojo for marketing.

****.... idk
Imo it's one of the Lebron curry Davis combo

Davis has the most potential but that's what it is, potential. No playoff track record

Bron and steph are win now, and Bron is older. I wouldn't be mad at anyone for picking one of those three. Anyone else is nonsense imo
picking kd who can do ANYTHING steph does and arguably better to would be nonsense? lmfao

I had Curry just slightly ahead of AD. Although AD's youth is ideal to start a franchise, Curry isn't old and will probably get even better as a shooter and craftier as a PG. Think about that.

Also Curry's game isn't built on physicality and attacking the basket with a lot of contact so I can see his career staying at a high level for a long time because his health isn't jeopardized. Also no Olympic mileage either. Part of me even believes Curry isn't even entering in his prime yet. Dude will be better next season.

Curry can outright pass it too. So what he has a good team, part of the reason why he has a good team is Curry gets them the ball and can fit into any offense.

If this were an all-time draft: I'd go Hakeem in the first Curry in the 2nd, the rest could be filler.

That should be a new thread: pick one atg and a current player to build a franchise around.

Honestly in this order

LeBron - Nothing he can't do on the basketball court

Steph Curry - I've grown tired of the guy but his shot making is elite and he's a playmaker as well

James Harden - He can do it all on offense and is capable of playing good defense when pressed

Russell Westbrook - I like the way he plays but his IQ from time to time is questionable

Kevin Durant - Would be in the top 2 or 3 but the foot injury drops him some

Anthony Davis - I need to see more of a killer instinct in him and a want to to be the man
