If you had to cut the Wu Tang Clan down to just 3 members who would they be?

I low key think y’all overreacting by insisting y’all gotta include RZA in there for beats, cause a producer like 4th disciple can still capture that WU sound

but RZA also has some fire verses so he can contribute in that way as well. But If were doing hypotheticals then let’s just say RZA stays in peak/classic Wu mode for the beats as well

Yeah RZA would be a great pick even without production contribution. I was just trying to give brehs an out cause a few felt like they had no choice on some who gonna do the beats shyt lol

It's been said already and it's the right answer: RZA, Meth, Ghost.

Ain't no Wu without the RZA he's #1
Meth is the illest and he got commercial appeal. Embodied the cool Wu-tang style in the mainstream, He the face of the Wu. He still dropped a dope verse on that track with Logic. Showed everyone he still got it.
Ghost is the best of everything. Cadence, songwriting, Wu-Tang style, being fly as fukk. Ghost gets in on his merit, he earned that spot without being the heart and soul of the group (like RZA) or being the face of the group (Meth). Ghost is Wu-Tang distilled to its finest.

Rae is cool but as good as he is he doesn't have the shine Ghost does. He's probably the best Wu-Tang rapper
ODB is my favorite, but he embodied his own persona more than the Wu-Tang. I've listened to his second album more than probably most people in the world and that was him to his core, not really a Wu-Tang joint.
Rebel INS is dope but he's basically a dope underground rapper.
GZA is a genius. that man's verses are insightful. but he doesn't shine like the rest of them.
The rest are good rappers in their own right.

No.....no we're not :mjlol: i feel you but just...no. RZA in the mid 90's was making genre shifting beats.

Rae and Ghost with RZA on the beats, for me.

Rae and Ghost have OB4CL Series, Ironman, SC, Pretty Tony, Fishscale and Bulletproof Wallets and countless mixtape joints between them and RZA masterminded the Wu's best years. They have that updated EPMD/ pre-Styles and Jada chemistry too. shyt might not hit the charts the same way they would if Meth was involved, but IMO those three were the most influential members in terms of style and sound.
