I wouldn't say they are inherently a scam, but yeah, NFT and scamming are a match made in heaven. The Reddit NFT is a bit dirtier than usual too because Reddit was going around airdropping them for free, basically dipping your feet in the waters, like an online casino giving you cash to play with after a deposit.
