My son wasn’t circumcised. It’s something that I’ve thought about for a while though but I’ve become more comfortable with. It seems circumcision is being phased out as well as less and less people are getting it done, so there’s less stigma around it

Not to mention the racist history behind it and how white people specifically campaigned for and targeted black male/female circumcision to stop us from being “hyper sexual”

Naturally it’s a good idea to be opposed to anything they said was good for us

A little boy here in Atlanta had a circumsion a few years back and it was botched; doc cut off too much. Dr. had to pay his family about $2 million to fund therapy for this child.

He is likely a teen by now and will have to deal with the reality of that forever. Parents worried about women clowning him for being uncut but now he has part of a penis

I honestly don't think anyone ever think it's going to be their son though. Why not just let the boy make that decision for himself when he is older? Then he can live those consequences himself.

And my son wasn’t able to cause he already had a surgery schedule for the first week of birth.

But now we won’t get it done unless he wants to as he gets older
