my bro just graduated Phd from MIT and i don't think he is making as much as me (yet)
and there are some teachers/professors with PHd that probably don't clear 6 figures

I would guess (completely pulling this number out my ass) that the absolute minimum would be somewhere around $80k, assuming you're employed within your field and not just some dude with a Ph. D who decided to go teach first grade for whatever reason.

True. I know it’s something to do with accounting. He’s always flying to conferences worldwide.

accounting is a decent field, i have a friend who is an MBA accountant, she's been doing well since ive known her going on 15 years now

It's people with a PhD working in the service industry so I wouldn't say it's anywhere near that high.
In education, it depends on where you teach. A PhD or Ed. D. working at a university is lucrative. Working the private vs public sector, a flagship university or a satellite school, etc. Professors at Harvard/ Boston college are easily clearing 200k. At the University of Massachusetts Amherst, they might average 90-100k. At Holyoke Community College, they might average 60-70k.
Not so much for k-12 teachers (I think they get 65-70k in alabama) and most principals who are doctors are really overworked; it’s a job that never ends. You might get to work at 6:30 and not leave until 10:30 because of football/basketball games or endless meetings.

I’m just going to say that it depends on what you do I’m going to say I expect them on average to be over $125,000 annually. I work with a view who have earned their doctorates in various things and they make around what I make. But this is likely a stepping stone for them or a conduit to pay for further education.
