The honest answer is, you just gonna have to let em cry themselves to sleep homie. When my Son was 1 1/2 we moved his crib to his room and he was heated lol.

I sat in his room with em for 2 days straight because he kept climbing out the crib to go back to my room. For both nights i stared him straight in the eye as he cried 4 hours plus each night.

I had to show him that I didnt care bout that crying and that his new room was his new sleeping spot no matter how much he cried.

That 3rd night he laid his ass down and that was that.

As far as the milk thing, my kids were Simalac babies lol.

What might work for some kids might not work for yours.
Case in point first daughter as long as she was fed, burped, bathed and swaddled, she was straight
My son, it didnt matter, if he was fed, hungry, he would wiggle out of the swaddle and hit you with
Even tried tough love as someone else suggested and he would wake the dead with his screams
Eventually, cutting back on his daytime naps was the trick

start a pattern and stick to it! dont fold. eventually they'll come around but the 2 year old breastfeeding idk about that breh that might take some time be prepared for some terribnle tantrums from that one

At this stage the breastfeeding is just a comfort thing
If your wife is concerned about nutrition she should express the milk and give it to your child in a cup or bottle

So it is important to get off the breast and give that baby some proper food to eat before bed (I give them cornmeal porridge) so it can hold his tummy until morning or at least 6 hours straight

Routine, routine, routine and stick to it. We used the cry it out method. It's hard and at times, but eventually the child learns that when in the crib it is time to sleep. Does the child have it's own room? Give it a little bit of time and you'll be straight.

As for breastfeeding. Does your child not take milk from a bottle? By the time your child is 1 years old they should be drinking Whole Milk from a bottle. 2 they should be learning to drink from a cup.

Children cry because they cant speak. I know this may sound crazy, but talk to your kid when he or she is crying. Ask them what is wrong, what is bothering them. Babies are pretty good at picking up energy based on your tone. If you are frustrated and show it, the baby will pick up that energy as well and cry because they are having difficulty telling you what is wrong with them.

Dip your finger in Vodka and let them nibble on it till those screams subside........would only recommend in extremely stressful situations.

Also sound proof the bed room......make sure the baby don't need shyt.......after you make sure everything is okay and the little shyt just wants to scream......then close the door and let it cry itsself to sleep.......
