Well you can do a lighter ACV rinse with braids but not this exact one. This one in the video is for locs and only should be done once or twice a year. The lighter ACV rinse is good for all types of hair. It's crazy my hair looks much darker. I'm about to try doing a light retwist myself. I got money but I don't feel like going to the shop to get it retwisted and shaped up. Shape ups are annoying as hell with these barbers around here.

It's a ACV(Apple cider Vinegar) rinse mixed with some baking soda and lemon juice. I just did it and the results were more than stellar.
Here's a before and after pic of the sink.

and I get my locs washed and retwisted every few weeks or so. This removed buildup from a long time ago in which heavy gels and product were used. This made my locs soft as hell.

My hair texture looks and feels like newborn baby hair. My shyt went from feeling like dry ass cheetos to velvet ropes. My hair went from dry prison dreads to hair that an ignant person would be like "U got that good hair"

You gotta wash and shampoo/condition after because this concoction is potent and dries ya hair out. I'm feeling right about now. Only thing that can further boost this feeling is having a nice sexy female massage my scalp. I can't fukking stress how good this shyt is. I was thinking of getting retwisted tomorrow but I'm about to rock this neglect style Bob Marley style, seen?

I tired to tell people on here that using gels for your loc's is not the way to go.

The products that I use no not cause me any build up,
it also helps that I get my loc's washed and retwisted every 2-3 weeks.
The only thing that cause build up for me is the after spray or sheen to keep my loc's from frizzing and loosening up.
