Easier to play off of others content than to generate your own

Plus some folks just have established thread brands that people are either consciously or subconsciously loyal to. Its a very competitive market space

As long as my dap to post ratio is up (~currently 50%) we good.

Forums are a team effort. Just like you got great shooters or great passers, there's posters that are better at adding on to threads than starting them.

Also, threadstarters take a huge risk of having all kinds of shade thrown on them. Once you see some :smh: or :snoop: as responses or even your thread doing a complete nosedive with only like 10 viewers, you might not want to do it again especially if it's a controversial topic.
You need some kind of star power to be a TS that consistently puts up triple plat threads.
